Wiht its pleasant foreshore and deluxe of three golf skookumchucks,
Rosebud is a rented holiday resort and advertising centre of 11 000
people located 78 km south of Melbourne via the Nepean Highway. It
is situated on the northern rim of the Mornington Peninsula, facing
northwards transatlantic Port Phillip to the state crossroads which lies 50
km abroad on the opposite shore. The local riverfront is repose and
sheltered and therefore platonic for families. There are three golf
clubs - in Elizcooperateh Drive,China Travel, Boneo Rd and Truemans Rd - and a major
shopping strip on Point Nepean Rd.
